Reporting bugs

Should you find a bug or strange behavior in the application you can help making it better by reporting your results.

• The preferred way is to use the forum.
• If you are unable to use the forum you can:
• Send an email to
• Include the following in the email:
  - What version of RBEditor are you using.
  - "Operating system" (i.e. windows/linux etc.) and version.
  - JRE version (if you installed the program files only).
  - What you were doing when the error occurred/when it occurred/how it occurred etc.
  - Any error messages.
  - Attach the file errlog.txt that has been created in the application's home directory.

Known bugs

This list will grow/shrink depending on the development stage. Below are the most important.

Import of .gbe files is not exact.

Not exactly a bug. It is "fairly" exact right now. This is because there are no exact equivalents among the predefines. If I put in some additional predefines this inaccuracy will be solved. However, I do not know how many of you who actually are interested in using this importing feature so it may not be worth the hassle. If a lot of people wants it I'll make it...

(Possible) future features

Importing coordinates.

Automatic import of coordinates from a file. This could be from a GPS device, Fugawi or some other application.

Change the order of WPs using Drag n' Drop.

Seems nice. For now you can use the keyboard shortcuts or the menus.

Automatically reversing a roadbook.

Really a time saving feature that is most likely to be implemented.
